Armagh Angling Club & Banbridge Angling Club team members.
Friendship Cup 2017
Competition 2 league held on Seagahan Dam on the 16th of September. the weather was wet and windy but it did not dampen the spirits of both teams . The two teams were very close regarding the numbers and weights of fish being caught , then Sam Grant from Banbridge Angling club hooked and landed a cracking rainbow of 7 lbs 13 oz , well done Sam great rainbow. Cathal Doyle landed a couple of good rainbows and then got absolutely smashed when he hooked into a large rainbow , still be there the next time Cathal. Paul Houlahan, Glen Simmons and Sergey Nuzarov all got good bags of trout for the Armagh team. well done lads. Banbridge team members Martin Dynes, Adrian McAnarney caught their limit of three fish. I would like to say that the effort by both teams on the day was great considering the cold and wet conditions, I would like also to thank you to G.I.Stores Armagh, Procast Angling Armagh and Coburns of Banbridge for sponsoring the prizes for the Competition, also a special thanks to Seth Crossbie & Nigel Jennings for their help with the BBQ .
